Ava Johnson's Reflection on Her Summer Internship
As summer slowly winds down, so does Ava Johnson’s Marketing Internship at Potawatomi Ventures. The program officially concludes on August 15, giving her enough time to relax and pack before her Sophomore year at Marquette University.
“These past few months have kept me busy and I feel fulfilled. I was able to familiarize myself with an office setting, work on some soft skills, network some, and build upon pre-existing connections,” says Johnson.
The school year starts August 25 and will bring many new adventures for Ava. She will continue studying Journalism and Advertising but will play more gigs with her band and explore more of Milwaukee with her friends.
“Even though I’ll only be a stone’s throw away from the office, I’ll miss the team very much. They gave me the opportunity to grow as a writer, deepen my understanding of what kind of people I want to work with, and helped me narrow down what I want to do after college,” Johnson continues. “Not only has PV expanded my career experiences, but they’ve also become an amazing support system and wonderful mentors.”
