Kip Ritchie Named a Notable Economic Development Executive by BizTimes Media

We’re proud to share that Kip Ritchie, CEO of Potawatomi Ventures, has been recognized as one of BizTimes Media’s Notable Economic Development Executives.  

This honor highlights the impact of Ritchie’s leadership, under which Potawatomi Ventures has strengthened and diversified its portfolio, advancing growth and long‑term prosperity for the Forest County Potawatomi Community. 

Since taking the helm of Potawatomi Ventures in 2023 – becoming the first tribal member to hold the CEO role – Ritchie has led the organization through significant expansion. His leadership has driven major accomplishments, including acquiring Lyons Electric in 2025, expanding government contracting operations and launching the new Fireside Market in Slinger. Under his guidance, Greenfire built a strong reputation through steady growth, expanded capabilities and delivery of high-value projects that strengthened the tribe’s economic foundation.
