Help Shape Our Tribe’s Economic Future
The economic future for the Forest County Potawatomi Community is strong — and growing. As part of our long-term strategic planning, we are inviting tribal members to help shape the next generation of opportunity for our tribally owned economic development corporation. This is a unique opportunity to participate in a comprehensive assessment and long-term future planning initiative that will help guide how we invest, grow, and create prosperity for generations to come.
Why Your Voice Matters
Potawatomi Ventures has grown into a diverse portfolio of companies and investments — creating jobs, sustainable revenue, and opportunities for our people. But to ensure our success continues for decades to come, we need the insight, creativity, and lived experience of our tribal citizens. We believe the next generation holds the key to building the future— blending education, tradition, innovation, and purpose.
What to Expect
Participants will:
Contribute to strategic assessments of our current enterprises
Help identify emerging industries and opportunities for future investment
Collaborate in small group sessions on culture, innovation, and sustainability
Provide input on what economic sovereignty means for the next generation
This initiative is part of a long-term, intergenerational vision to strengthen our Tribe’s economic foundation and ensure our businesses reflect our shared values: Authentically humble. Genuinely kind. Consistently resilient. Boldly courageous. Profoundly visionary. The committee will be led by Crystal Deschinny, Potawatomi Ventures Board Chair; Ryan Dyer, Potawatomi Ventures Board Member; and Tribal Financial Advisors, leading Indian Country investment consultant.
